This is especially important if you:

  • Have a history of heart disease or cardiovascular issues
  • Are recovering from an injury
  • Have been sedentary for an extended period
  • Are pregnant or have recently given birth
  • Have any chronic health condition

Our Safety Framework

Every plan generated by Stride Coach is validated by our Safety Framework, which enforces constraints including:

  • Maximum 10% weekly mileage increase
  • No back-to-back hard workout days
  • Mandatory step-back recovery weeks
  • Experience-appropriate long run limits

These rules are non-negotiable and run as the final validation layer before any plan is delivered to you. However, automated safety checks do not replace your own judgment and awareness of your body.

Listen to Your Body

No algorithm can account for how you feel on a given day. If you experience pain, excessive fatigue, or any concerning symptoms, stop training and seek medical attention. Skipping or reducing workouts when your body needs it is always the right call.
